DELEGATES REQUIRING
A VISA INVITATION LETTER
Those international delegates
requiring a visa to enter Malaysia will need a letter
of invitation in order to obtain a visa to visit Malaysia.
It is very important that you start arranging your visa
in time. The procedure takes at least two weeks, and it
can be very difficult to arrange an appointment with the
embassy. Since it does require time to process, we strongly
suggest that you plan on as much lead time as possible
to get your letter request in and process your visa application.
We can provide an invitation letter for you for the PIECE
2010 Conference so long as you have already registered
for this conference and sent us the request form with
a scanned copy of your passport. These are all necessary
for obtaining your invitation letter. In addition, please
note that the Organiser will not be able to contact or
intervene on behalf of applicants with any Malaysian Embassy
or Consulate office abroad, and the Organiser shall not
be liable for delegates’ visa applications.
All submitted information is verified prior to the letter
being produced; it is not an automatic process and it
will take approximately 7-10 business days to process
and email your requested invitation letter to you. We
are unable to respond to requests submitted after our
deadline of 19 March 2010. Please note that this invitation
letter does not guarantee that you will receive a visa
and all invitation letters will be sent using email. Please
complete the request for an official invitation letter
form:
